Tamer Soliman

Tamer Soliman is Vice President of Data Analytics at Assurant, where he is sharply focused on enabling descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to drive business growth and operational efficiencies. Mr. Soliman has over 17+ years of direct, hands-on experience in areas that span the insurance industry. He has a proven history of providing strong technical and business leadership in a global environment, including the formation and establishment of our Data Analytics organization, and the development of a robust and forward-thinking enterprise Data Analytics strategy. Prior to his current role, Mr. Soliman worked closely with other leaders across the Assurant Solutions organization to spearhead the formation and evolution of an International Risk Management group later on become Solutions Risk Management, a team which has been instrumental in building an early detection monitoring system for international and domestic clients. He has also served in a variety of other key roles, including IT Auditor for Risk and Advisory Services, and Audit Manager. In 2016, Mr. Soliman received the inaugural Rising Champion Award for innovation in risk management. The Rising Champion Award recognizes those risk and insurance industry leaders who exemplify the professional and business knowledge principles envisioned by the Risk Management and Insurance Department at Georgia State University. Prior to working with Assurant, Mr. Soliman was a network administrator at Plymart, a regional home improvement retailer. Mr. Soliman is a graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. A native of Egypt, Mr. Soliman came to the US in 1995 and he resides in Atlanta with his family.
